Before you send your documents to the employer, check what mistakes are most often made in the CV and cover letter. Be sure to analyze your application in this respect. Do not send the application right after it is ready, if you can, print the documents and take a break. Read them carefully after a few hours or the next day. A fresh look will make you find errors faster. If, however, today is the last day of recruitment, ask one of your relatives to read your documents and indicate errors, thanks to which you will be able to correct them and send them to the employer.
